If you’re in Indianapolis, you should come to the reception for our show this Wednesday evening or at least run by while it’s still up through the end of the month.
P.S.: This is the show image/poster/postcard design I made for the show, but for various reasons it wasn’t used. Oh well.
Awkward panorama taken from under the installation.
Better photos when gallery lighting is set.
Upholstering some wall circles with painted, printed, and embroidered stuff.
Finishing up the last batches of prints for my installation.
By the end of today, I will have pulled a varied edition of 129 multiple layer screenprints in two and a half days.
Then I have to cut up everything and fold most of the paper into various prismatic forms.
Expect a wave of posts soon with photos from the entire endevor.
Setting my name in type reminds me that basically every boy in middle school had to point out what my name spelled backwards is.
Simple Green is my degreaser of choice for both cleaning bikes and printmaking messes.
And yeah, those tins are from Qdoba.
Part of an installation-ish thing. Screenprint and paint on wood cut out fabulously with a bandsaw.
Embroidering my circles. The canvas has so much ink, paint, and varnish on it that it won’t fit in a hoop.
I made these, thought they were done, put them away for a few weeks, and realized that they are not finished after all.
…Unless I use them as coasters.
