Figuring out some background patterns to print on small wood panels.
My space is all nice and tidy for the new semester. Let’s give it two weeks before it’s a disaster zone again.
Part of an installation-ish thing. Screenprint and paint on wood cut out fabulously with a bandsaw.
Really bad photo of the first litho print of the semester.
Embroidering my circles. The canvas has so much ink, paint, and varnish on it that it won’t fit in a hoop.
I made these, thought they were done, put them away for a few weeks, and realized that they are not finished after all.
…Unless I use them as coasters.
FYI: It is possible to print with a sponge and a block of wood instead of a squeegee to achieve a fuzzy, hazy image through a photo emulsion stencil.
